Differential Cable – 9-Pin D-Sub plug to 4-Pin Amphenol socket. Used to connect differential probes to single ect MAD 8D channel.


send/receive cable
Send/Receive Cable – 9-Pin D-Sub plug to 4-Pin Amphenol socket. Used to connect send/receive probes to single ect MAD 8D channel.


dual differential cable
Dual Differential Cable – Two 9-Pin D-Sub plugs to one 4-Pin Amphenol socket. Used to connect single differential probe to two separate ect MAD 8D channels.


 10 Ohm Attenuator cable
10 Ohm Attenuator Cable – 4-Pin Amphenol plug to 4-Pin Amphenol socket. Used to reduce large signals. Connect between probe and differential cable or send/receive cable. Cannot be used with the ect MAD 8D Amplifier.


5X attenuator
5X Attenuator Cable – 9-Pin D-Sub plug to 9-Pin D-Sub socket. Used to reduce signal by five times. Connect between ect MAD 8D interface cable and a single ect MAD 8D channel. It cannot be used with a send/receive cable or a differential cable.


interface cable
MAD 8D Interface Cable – 25-Pin D-Sub plug to four 9-Pin D-Sub plugs. Used to connect ect MAD 8D Amplifier to four ect MAD 8D channels. Power to the ect MAD 8D Amplifier is supplied through Channel 2. Channel 2 must be connected to the Eddy Current Test Instrument for the ect MAD 8D Amplifier to work properly.


footswitch
Foot Switch – 15-Pin D-Sub plug to foot switch. Used to execute Macro Strings. Six foot cable length is standard.


 Analog output cable
MAD Analog Output – 15-Pin D-Sub plug to two BNC plugs. Used to connect single channel horizontal and vertical outputs to input analog device. Three foot cable length is standard.


MAD 8D Amplifier
MAD 8D Amplifier – This is the multi-frequency interface between the probe and the Eddy Current Test Instrument. With the use of a reference probe, absolute signals can be obtained.
